A world of outdoor fun awaits you with UMFK’s Biology program! Our students participate in research in various ways; through the Small World Initiative studying antibiotic-resistant superbugs, working with Howard Hughes Medical Institute’s SEA-PHAGES program, or studying gene sequencing with MDI Labs in Bar Harbor. Students can participate in the research our faculty conduct through the use of drones, water studies, and wildlife assessments as well.
